Actually iso image files are sometimes played using a virtual clone
drive. When you are working with Blu-ray files on the HD, you often
create an iso file for burning. Many Blu-ray capable player programs
will not play Blu-ray file sets on the HD. You would like to see how
the movie looks before you burn to an expensive Blu-ray disc. Before

.iso is an image file and it doesn't get "played." You need a burning
program like imgburn to burn the image to a CD/DVD.

The problem with the software is there is no way to correct problems or even
notify the data base owner of problems. I understand some of us are woking
with obscure artists and albums. For instance the 1987 Michael Jackson Bad

It sounds like the DNS lookup works, but it would still be interesting
to see the exact output, so please copy/paste it into your post.
What do you see when you go to
[link] in IE? It should be a 403
error (forbidden: access is denied). Also try this in an alternative

Download Gspot and drag your media file onto it.
It will tell you the file details, what codec it needs and
whether you have them installed.

You can use the Advanced Tag Editor for batch edits as well. Simply
select all songs of the album, right-click and select Advanced Tag
Editor. Tick the checkbox next to the Album Artist field to edit it.

System32/Common folder opens at startup

always if I start my computer the System32/Common folder opens. A wrong
registry entry for Windows Media Player causes this behavior:
WMPNSCFG C:\Programme\Windows Media Player\WMPNSCFG.exe
The quotation marks are missing.

When I try to play a file that my company provided for training, nothing
happens in WMP. There are no errors. Play, stop and pause do nothing. The
screen does not update. I can still close the application. I can play
sample music, but none of these files. Is it possible that a CODEC was
deleted or corrupted? How would I go about troubleshooting this issue?

I have Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) and I do not want the screen saver to

Changing Rip Music Directory

I had changed my default rip directory to my 2nd HDD which died and now I
can't rip any music, the file path under rip setting is blank and the change
button doesn't work. Does anyone know how to get it to change the rip
location since I now can't rip any music.

I probably should have mentioned that streaming from the laptop to the tv (same configuration as from the desktop just different source) does not generate the same problem. Therefore, the issue appears to be unique to the w7, wmp 12 desktop
I'm running wmp 12 on a home premium x86 windows 7 desktop. When I stream my music to a Pioneer Elite Pro 151fd tv (802-11n wireless to Linksys wrt-300n and direct ethernet connection router to the tv) all of my songs stop at the same point (several seconds from the end) and move to the next song on the playlist or album. This does not happen when streaming from the same desktop to wmp 12 on my w7 laptop. Does anyone have any ideas?
