Hi, in Word 2003, how can I display elesewhere in the doc the label associated with the radio/option button that the user has selected? Has this something to do with Fields? I can't seem to work out how to do it. Any thoughts please?

Turning off automatic capitals after a period

I need to (continuously) type genus and species names, where the genus is abbreviated - both Word and Publisher put initial caps on the species names - there must be a way to turn this function off! Can anyone advise on this? I change all the ones I find, but miss some, and the result is very unprofessional.... meer »

I would like to export about 10 sub or linked sql server reporting service 2008 reports to word and create a table of contents. From looking on the web site looks like my best option is to do this in word. If not, how would you accomplish this task using Word? What I use the document map feature to connect to word? Bottom ribbon

The ribbon at the bottom of the page with word count etc, disappeared. How do I get it back?

Go to the Insert tab of the ribbon and in the Header & Footer section, use the Header, Footer or Page Number pulldowns. Alternatively, if you double click in the area above your text at the top of the page, it will open the header pane and display the ribbon Header & Footer Tools Design tab.

Every time I ask to open a new doc it goes to one of my own password protected ones. How do I just get a bloody blank document to be default????

Documents List view as default Make smaller version

When I open "My Documents" in the list option, the list is so big I need a scroll bar to see it. When I click on views I eventually get a list that is small and fits on one page without a scroll bar. When I close "My Documents" and reopen it is back to the bigger version. Is there a way to keep the... meer »

Find and replace formatting

When I use search and replacein word 03 it replaces eveything in capital letter even when i type in lower case in the replace with box. How do i stop this please? The answer is probably so simple but im just missing it!! Please help as its very frustrating. Thanks
